Will NCAA allow you to PLAY ANY team's games in your Franchise??

Will it allow you to play any game on the NCAA Schedule in your Franchise Mode, even matchups of other teams like NCAA Football and Madden?

I know they mentioned that they wanted to add this last year...did they add it for this year?

We don't know yet. Personally I dont know whats so great about this feature. If its a big game between number 1 or number 2 why would you want to take over a team and win for them or lose for them? Simming is there for a reason, if you want to play with diffrent teams theres always play now.

well i know i don't like to do one team dynasties. I like to play almost all the top 25 games, and big games on the season. Then play every tournament game. This is how I like to play, and I can do it in almost every game.

a) Last year's sim engine was broken
b) Many users (like myself) don't like being restricted to one team in a dynasty, and want to get in on as many big games as possible. What's wrong with that?
c) Most important of all...this "feature", if you can call it that, is in EVERY sports game. It's so ubiquitous, I have trouble even calling it a feature. Heck, I'm pretty sure most of the March Madness games had this option. Not including it is just plain lazy.

This is the $64million dollar question Fudge...EA haven't yet said which, despite being a much requested feature on the wishlists, is leading us to believe it's not in.

Catarsound - it's all about having variety...as Ianlast says it allows us to play or watch (I'm a cpu v cpu person) any game from the schedule...if you were told irl that you could only watch 1 team's games for the whole season on tv then I'm sure there'd be uproar...imagine if they didn't make it to the NCAA tourney, you could then watch the tournament 'cos you have a season ticket for that 1 team only.

It's a 'feature' that is in most games and Ian, you're right it was in the old PS1 March Madness titles...

Watching is not the same as coaching/playing. Its not like a coach of a small school can just take over a coaching game for unc vs duke or somthing similar. Also Ianlist you said the sim engine is broken, i know that but if your only playing the big games such as top 25 games. If a 9 beats a 5 thats not like it never happens in real life.

Fair enough. I definitely see your point, but that's not the way I approach Dynasty. I like the freedom of being able to play any game I want. And @ Ninjoid, thanks for confirming, I could've sworn I'd seen it previous MM games. I'm still holding out hope it will be in this year's game.

That's my thoughts on it. I play my Dynasty like I'm the coach of my school, so it doesn't bother me. I understand where people are coming from, though.

Thank you. And thats what catarsond should be saying. We don't all play dynasty the same way.

Some of us don't wanna pretend to be a "coach." We just like the big picture of a college basketball season and like being able to jump in wherever we want to.

I couldn't care less about pretending to be a coach.

Its actually gonna be the determining factor for me. I have no use for a one team game. Its 2009, give me total freedom.
